The Korea Professional Makeup Artists Association (President Ahn Mi-ryeo, hereinafter KPMA) and Yana Trip Co., Ltd. (CEO Cho Ji-hwan) held an MOU signing ceremony on the 30th (Thursday) to collaborate on a project related to the ‘K-Makeup Korean Culture Experience Program,’ which is specialized for tourists from the Middle East and Muslim countries.

The KPMA, which conducted this MOU, is an association that received approval for incorporation from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2008. It administers Korea’s largest number of private beauty-related certifications, totaling 19 categories including not only makeup but also special effects makeup, airbrushing, illustration, eyelash extensions, updos, waxing, and nail art. The association takes the lead in discovering outstanding artists annually through contests and comprehensive competitions, and in promoting education through various beauty-related seminars.
