“SEOULHOBBI” is a deliberate fusion of two words from two worlds. “SEOUL” is the capital of Korea a city that represents modernity, culture, tradition, and innovation in equal measure. “HOBBI” is derived from the Arabic word حبي (Habibi / Hobbi), meaning “my love” or “my dear” one of the warmest expressions of affection and belonging in the Arab world.
Together, the name literally reads as “Seoul, my love” a declaration that this brand is not simply a business, but a genuine affection for both cultures. It is a name that Koreans find curious and elegant, and that Arab speakers immediately feel a personal connection to. That dual resonance is intentional and powerful.
Our MissioN
To build sustainable cultural and economic bridges between Korea and the Middle East by creating meaningful exchange programs, ethical trade channels, and ESG-aligned partnerships that empower youth and generate shared value for communities on both sides.
Our mission is operational, not aspirational. It means students from Korean universities sitting with Arab exchange participants over halal lunch boxes prepared by Seoul’s mosque community. It means Korean-made hijabs given as meaningful cultural gifts rather than generic souvenirs. It means Korean companies with CSR budgets funding experiences that change lives rather than producing glossy reports.
