On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, a special lecture and seminar featuring a distinguished speaker was held at the Multipurpose Hall on the 4th floor of the Seoul Tourism Plaza, hosted by the Seoul Hospitality Academy (SHA) Alumni Association and sponsored by the Seoul Tourism Association.

The event was divided into two parts. In the first part, Executive Director Song Hye-kyung of the “Association for Promoting Korean Spirit and Culture” delivered a lecture on the theme “Humanities Embodied in Korea’s Hongik Ingan: What Tourism Professionals Didn’t Know.” In the second part, a discussion was held regarding trends and directions for the tourism industry to facilitate an early recovery from COVID-19. The panelists included Won Dae-hee, CEO of One De Korea (Inbound); Jo Yeon-ah, Director of Yana Trip (Outbound); Kang Hyung-rae, CEO of Nanuri World (Cruise); Jang Deok-sang, Vice President of Mob Partners (Accommodation); Jin Hong-seok, Chairman of the Korea MICE Convergence Leaders Forum (MICE); and Jung Soo-yeon, CEO of Hi-Bus Tour (Tour Bus). These experts from various fields participated, comprising a total of six graduates of the Seoul Hospitality Academy (SHA). The panelists presented diverse opinions on the developmental direction of their respective industries.
