The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Entertainment Producers Association are set to host the ‘2022 Global Entertainment Expo’ (2022 GEE) on 11–12 November in Hall 10 of Exhibition Hall 2 at KINTEX in Goyang.

The ‘2022 GEE’ is an entertainment industry exhibition designed to generate economic benefits by exporting cultural technologies and building related industrial infrastructure through K-pop, which has recently been attracting significant attention.

At the ‘2021 GEE’, which was held for the first time last year, business consultations worth US$16.756 million (approximately 22.47 billion won) took place, of which US$6.612 million (approximately 8.87 billion won) related to investment and export deals.

This year’s event will feature the participation of over 250 entertainment companies, along with seminars on the vision of the entertainment industry and strengthening global competitiveness, as well as K-pop performance stages. Jo
Yeon-ah, Director at Yanatrip, explained the significance of participating in the 2022 Global Entertainment Expo (GEE2022), stating, “Yanatrip will not only support overseas performances for the Korean entertainment industry but also facilitate the invitation of international artists to Korea.”

 Meanwhile, Yana Trip, a travel agency specializing in overseas performance support and artist hospitality, successfully completed performance support for artists participating in the KOREA-US SMEs go together event held at Pier 17 in New York. It also handled administrative tasks such as visas, flights, hotels, and vehicle operations for the teams of BOA, WINNER, and CIX, and provided event support for the Dubai K-CON Minicon last November and the Dubai Expo K-POP event this year.
